The vowed Religious life is an "Alleluia in Action" that responds to an Easter Proclamation that Jesus Christ is alive yesterday, today and the same forever.

     For many years Sister Sheila a member of the Daughters of Mary and Joseph has served our parish as pastoral assistant.

     More recently, Teresa Groth who has served in our parish in many capacities such as Liturgy Committee coordinator, and director of the Spanish RCIA, has experienced a call to the same religious community.

     Parishioners may also remember the African Sisters who visited us regularly during the summer are also members of the Daughters of Mary and Joseph.

     Teresa made her first Profession of Religious Vows in a Eucharistic celebration at St. John Fisher Church in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA on Saturday, March 6th, 2010.  Many of our parishioners were there to support Teresa in this step to her religious calling.
